With every year that goes by, we either get closer to fulfilling the purpose for which we were born or further away from doing so. Which is it for you? Until a couple of years ago, I knew there was something I was supposed to be doing and that what I was doing was NOT it! For years, I prayed to find my purpose, to figure out exactly what it was that my Higher Power wanted me to do in this life. Then I went through a course in which I was able to find out exactly what was missing in my career and my life path and once I began putting those things into place, I went through a shift that has been stunning in its effect on my life. That detailed purpose knowledge, along with an understanding of how to go about making the changes I needed to make to live a more purposeful life, have made all the difference for me and, since then for the many clients I have helped. Basically, in my case, I found that it is my purpose to help addicts and their families find their way. I do this through coaching, developing and teaching courses, and writing blogs and books. I help people deal with the effects of living with an addict. I help addicts who want to change their lives develop a plan to do so. I also help people in recovery to find their life purpose and then to figure out how to make it come alive in their life. So, that's me. That's my purpose. In a phrase, I bring purpose, connection, sanity and peace to addicts and their families. And in that process, I get more purpose, connection, sanity and peace in my own life. Purposeful living gleans purposeful results So, what about you? What's your reason for being? Would you like to know? I can help you figure it out.
